Hey all~hope you had a good Easter break!  Ours was lovely…although, Salem Lutheran in Loretto did attempt to set a world record for the longest Easter Service ever…even the adults were squirming.  I assume it was because we had to sing so many great hymns that are considered ‘Easter-ish’, and they only come around once a year…Perhaps a little ‘I know that my Redeemer lives’ rocked out with a big old organ should be done twice a month, no matter the season!
One of the perks to hosting holidays is getting to live off of leftovers for days!  We will be eating ham and hard-boiled eggs for yet another supper tonight (if you have a lot left, might I suggest a cobb salad)?  I’m sure my children will be less than pleased. I remember dreading leftovers when I was a kid…now that I’m an adult~I find leftovers very exciting. I’m 99% sure the excitement is more about the fact that I don’t have to cook…and less about the flavor of 3 day old ham.

All this blog post needs now is a reference to ‘jello salad’ and I’ll get my official ‘Lutheran’s of Minnesota’ badge!  You betcha!

Trying my bestest to keep the blog updated~today I have the awesome Emily from Monticello High School on the blog!  Emily you were so fun to work with~I adore her freckles~I’m so jealous!  Emily is a gymnast and she took me to Monticello’s swampy dark gym for a few pictures…dang, that room is gross…It needed an air-conditioner, a vacuum and a barrel of Febreeze-STAT.  Despite the conditions~it was super fun to run around in there~bouncing on the cushiony floor with my camera around my neck~wheeee!
