Allright, it’s a new year…which means two things: The weather will be colder and you’ll write the date incorrectly for about 2 months. The new year for a photographer is a good time to do…nothing. Absolutely nothing. I haven’t left the house in 4 days. Partially because there is a -40 windchill…and partially because I just don’t have too…the joys of working from home in the slow season!
This new found free time did allow me to finally work on the images/video from our November CAMPING shoot with my class of 2015 senior models! They came out to the studio decked out in the cutest glamping outfits you ever did see. I gave them a pinterest board~and they accepted the challenge! When I envisioned this shoot, I saw us at a campground sitting around a campfire…but for the life of me…I couldn’t find a decent campsite that was A) nearby and B)somewhat attractive….so I convinced my husband to dig a fire pit in the back…we hauled a few tents down from the rafters (this lady doesn’t do sleeping on the floor anymore), and boom, you’ve got a homemade campground. I do have a pool in the back…I wonder if I could start charging this summer…hmmmm. #notetoself
We shot this on November 9th…which was a cold and dreary day. That night we got almost 12 inches of snow~I’m SO happy we were able to do this before it hit!
Before you look at all of the images~check out the video here!
